It’s all Andy Murray’s fault!

I had great plans to spend some time writing every day this weekend and then Wimbledon took over my life, just like it used to when I was young and had nothing better to do 🙂 I literally spent all weekend watching the tennis and so had no time left for writing. I am so proud of Andy though and it was such a great occasion that I am really glad we were able to be a part of it. I was also very happy for Ivan Lendl who was my favourite tennis player for all his peak years and it was great to see him ‘win’ at Wimbledon too. So, excuses, excuses, I hear you cry! Well, I am pleased to say that I managed another 500 or so words tonight, bringing my CampNaNoWriMo total to (drum roll please) 1651 words. I have to write an average of 300 odd words a day if I am to reach my goal of 10,000 words by the end of the month. It is hard to keep going when you’re working all day as well but I will try and keep at it, distractions notwithstanding 😉
